Rich heritage. Friendly staff. Small museum (free) and tours if you are early enough. A bit pricey but their works last a lifetime
Thank you, Trish, for the wonderful tour of the mill today! It was fascinating to learn about the history and weaving process of Pendleton. An extraordinary tour—highly recommend to anyone going through Pendleton, Oregon!
Very nice shop, lots of variety. Do check fiber content tags though- much is acrylic, which surprised me.

First time here. Glad we came. Great displays of history and products. Will return during the week (Mon - Fri) to take the Mill tour.
Absolute must-stop. We were there on a rainy day and did the tour of the mill. It's not easy for a non-native English speaker to follow everything, also due to the noise from the machines, but despite that it was interesting and great to see the process. Large store attached to it with friendly staff and good deals.
We love stopping in here. Before reading on, I have to say I graded them down two full stars because their employees are so unfriendly. Not rude, just super cold and unfriendly.
The store is always clean and well stocked. The quality of their mechandise is top shelf. We have three of their blankets, numerous shirts, suitcases, bags...... their goods will last a lifetime. Taking the mill tour, which I have done 6 times over the past 30-years, is a blast.
It's worth a trip here, we just wish they could find a friendly face to hire.
We visited Pendleton Woolen Mills and it was a great hit with the family. They sell blemished blankets at a discount which is a fine way to acquire a Pendleton wool blanket without breaking the bank. I bought a coffee mug and hat. My wife purchased the blanket and she was so pleased. I observed many people leaving who were super happy - one lady was even happy crying.
